We’re often asked what kind of consultantcy Brand Central Station is.  And, upon further reflection, it may be easier to explain what we’re not.

  • Brand Central Station is not an ad agency.
  • It’s not a public relations firm.
  • It’s not a design studio.

For marketers – whether you’re a company trying to jump start the marketing process or an in-house agency looking to acquire the tools you need to get the job done right – we’re the people you should call first, before you call anyone else.

For small and mid-sized agencies – we have the ability to help you find the partners and resources you need to compete against larger agencies with deeper pockets.  And, maybe, if you’re an active and contributing member to the knowledge base we’re developing in our online community, you might impress some of the clients who frequent our site.

And that would be a good thing.

 

What We Do
We help clients evaluate their marketing situations, understand the challenges faced by their brand and then find the right people to do the job – anywhere in the world!

Brand Central Station provides objective advice and insight into any marketing scenario a client faces.  With a network of literally thousands of agencies, solo practitioners, consultants and service providers, there is no client too small or markting challenge too large.

We help clients form and maintain relationships with service providers they can trust – and we stand behind those relationships, always working to make sure everyone is satisfied with the work, the challenges and the chemistry.

Brand Central Station is not like any other marketing consultancy you’ll find anywhere else.  But, then again, these times are unlike any we’ve seen at any time.

Your brand has places it needs to go.  You can count on BCS to help you take it there.

 

Customer Relationships
In our line of work, we view both the marketer responsible for the safekeeping and development of the brand and the agencies/other service providers who make up the client-agency/service provider relationship as our customers.  In fact, the bulk of our compensation is the result of successfully completed transactions conducted between both parties.

In short, we only succeed when our customers succeed.

For that reason, we’re probably more in-tune with how agencies and their clients work together than anyone.

Once we’ve helped our clients develop their plans and provided the necessary instructions, we stay engaged – checking up on a regular basis (either monthly or quarterly) on how everyone is proceeding against their plans.  If a problem comes up (and, from time to time, they do), we serve as an ombudsman, working out the details and brokering a solution.

We’ve learned our objectivit puts us in a unique position to help work out the “rough spots” so an essentially good relationship doesn’t turn sour.

After all, the first priority needs to be the brand and how it’s going to go where it needs to go.
